An Intermediate Project Architect position is currently available at a New York-based architecture, planning, and design firm Studio Carlos Zapata. Successful candidates have at least 5-7 years of full-time work experience with a focus on commercial, hospitality and mixed-use projects as well as excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite (Revit and Twinmotion are a big plus).

Operating from studios across California, Backen & Backen (formerly Backen & Gillam Architects) welcomes new team members to these three sites: a Project Manager with at least ten years of professional experience in Saint Helena, a Job Captain with a minimum of six years of experience in Sausalito and a technical designer with three or more years of Montecito experience.

In Portland, Maine, Design + construction of juniper is looking for candidates for these vacancies: a designer with 3 to 7 years of professional experience and a mastery of AutoCAD, ArchiCAD and Microsoft Office (Enscape, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign are a plus) as well as a project architect / senior designer with a working knowledge of building and zoning codes and at least seven years of experience, particularly in the design of high performance, low carbon footprint buildings.

DIAA studio is recruiting a mid-level project architect/designer to join its Seattle-based team. The position requires strong design and technical skills as well as a minimum of 3-7 years of professional experience in each phase of design, permitting, documentation and construction.

New York-based studio Julian von der Schulenburg is inviting applications for a Junior Designer/V-Ray Renderer to design a concert hall in Bushwick as part of a four week schematic design workshop. The temporary position has the possibility of transforming into a full-time junior designer position.
