Glass shaped curved glass designs showcase the versatility of a mega mansion project

Glasshape was contracted to design and supply its laminated curved glass to suit multiple applications in a massive mansion project in Utah, USA.

This spectacular private home is located in an exclusive gated community, arguably one of the best ski resort areas in the United States. Nestled among lush aspen groves, rolling meadows and sparkling streams with backdrops of awe-inspiring mountains, this home is truly one of a kind.

Completed in partnership with New Concepts Glass Design, the project focused solely on the leisure and leisure wing of the house, which contains an indoor pool and spa, golf putting greens, abseiling wall, gymnasium , a racquetball court and a half basketball court.

Glasshape provided digital field measurement services, a 3D laser scan of the house during its construction. This data was processed by Glasshape’s in-house design team, 3D modeling the structures as built and designing their 14.28mm TemperShield low iron laminated curved glass to perfectly match the structure of the home.

The project included the manufacture and supply of no less than three unique curved glass staircases, over 45 linear meters of curved glass railings and an impressive floor-to-ceiling curved glass wall in the gymnasium, providing a view raised and unobstructed on the indoor pool. bowl.

This animation was produced by Glasshape’s in-house design team, using a 3D model created from a combination of laser scan data taken at the time of the site measurement and architectural plans provided by the customer.
