Inverurie companies join forces to create a leading name in architecture
Award-winning architecture and planning consultancy firm Lippe Architects + Planners has been purchased by successful Inverurie-based firm RJM Architectural Design for an undisclosed sum.
All staff will transfer to the new McWilliam Lippe Architects, which will employ a multi-disciplinary team of 12, including an in-house planning consultant and a registered conservation specialist.
The current headcount is expected to grow in the coming months as the new company seeks to capitalize on additional opportunities in traditional and emerging markets.
RJM Architectural Design has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is particularly well established in the self-build sector.
By increasing capacity through the acquisition of Lippe Architects + Planners, it is expected that the provision of a full and diverse range of services will act as a vital stepping stone to future growth.
Ross McWilliam of RJM Architectural Design said, “We are delighted to bring two local businesses together and successfully combine their resources for the benefit of all existing, repeat and potential clients.
“The team has extensive experience in all manner of residential and commercial work which will enable us to thrive in our chosen markets, from small domestic projects to large scale developments and master planning with specific disciplines.”
Lippe Architects + Planners Director/Senior Architect, Willie Lippe, added: “This announcement represents an exciting new chapter in the evolution of the business and will create new opportunities that will drive future sustainability and success.
“RJM Architectural Design’s ethos is fully aligned with our own founding principle and our continued drive to provide services that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
“We look forward to exploring the many benefits this collaboration will reveal, for us and for our customers.”
