Structure of the Ministry of Construction

Decree No. 52/2022/ND-CP is issued by the Ministry of Construction defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction. Decree 52 is published and comes into force on August 08, 2022.

In particular, the new organizational structure of the ministry excludes:

– The Institute of Construction Economics

– The Institute of Construction Sciences and Technologies

– The National Institute of Architecture

– The National Institute for Urban and Rural Development.

In particular, the Ministry of Construction is a government agency exercising the function of state management of construction planning and architecture; investment in construction; Urban development; technical infrastructure; lodging; work desks; the real estate market; construction materials; and the state management of public services in the areas under the state management of the ministry in accordance with the law.

Within this framework, the Ministry of Construction performs the tasks and exercises the powers as follows:

– Perform tasks regarding digital transformation, application of information technology and construction of e-government in the construction sector in accordance with the law;

– Build and manage the national information system and database on construction activities…

More importantly, the government prescribes to formulate and organize the implementation of schemes, programs and projects to encourage, support and promote the development of construction mechanical engineering products.
